2025 Prep Enrolments Now Open

Enrolments for 2025 are now open for Aitken Hill Primary School.

If your child is turning 5 before 30 April 2025 they are eligible to enrol for Prep in 2025.

Tours and information sessions have not yet been finalised.  Please keep checking the site as once we have dates locked in they will be on this page.

Designated Neighbourhood Area (school zone)

• In Victoria, all students have a designated neighbourhood school. This is the school nearest to the student’s permanent address.
• In metropolitan areas, the nearest school is measured by a straight line from the student’s permanent address.
• Each designated area is defined by a designated neighbourhood boundary.

Our school adheres to the Department of Education's Designated Neighbourhood Area Policy. This requires us to guarantee placement for students from within our designated neighbourhood area.  To check which school you are zoned to, we advise using the Find My School Website.

The priority order of placement at Aitken Hill Primary School is:

• Students for whom the school is the designated neighborhood school. Placement for these students is automatic and guaranteed.
• Students with a sibling attending the school at the same time and living at the same permanent address. Placement for these students is automatic and guaranteed.
• In exceptional circumstances, compassionate grounds.
• Enrolment at Aitken Hill Primary School complies with all laws relating to discrimination, equal opportunity, privacy and immunisation.

Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

In order to accept your enrolment the school requires the following documentationProof or your residential address

• Australian Birth Certificate or Passport
• Record of Immunisation issued by Medicare
• Current Visa Status (if required)
